For the first time, PC players from Call of Duty will meet with consoleros and can compete in the optional crossplay multiplayer.
Open beta for all players on all platforms starts in the night of Saturday
The second phase of the crossplay beta on weekend 2, which is accessible to all players on all platforms, meanwhile starts, according to Twitter in the night of Saturday, around 3 clock and runs until Monday, September 23 to 19 clock. The PC requires a Battle.net account, while the Xbox One requires Xbox Live Gold. As map playlists the following variants are offered: 6v6 Gun Runner, 6v6 Hackney Yard (day), 6v6 Azhir Cave (day) and 10v10 Grazna Raid. Game mode filters include Team Deathmatch, 10v10 Headquarters and 10v10 Domination.
Of course, the developers of Infinity Ward have already received feedback on the beta. In a Reddit post, they go into the fan feedback. The developers discuss various technical issues, such as connection problems on the consoles, blurred image, crashes on PC and Xbox One or no chat between PC players with console players. For some of these problems, developers have already released fixes.
